CUVA Consensus
The CUVA network utilizes a custom-engineered Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism designed for maximum security and deterministic finality.
Democratic Security
Governance and security in the CUVA ecosystem are intrinsically linked. Holders of the native CUVA asset can stake their tokens to secure the network and earn rewards, creating a symbiotic relationship between total value secured and network integrity.
Byzantine Fault Tolerance
The network can reach consensus even if up to 33% of validators are offline or malicious, ensuring continuous uptime.
Deterministic Finality
Once a block is committed, it is final. There are no "probabilistic" confirmations, making it perfect for high-value financial settlements.
Validator Selection
CUVA validators are chosen based on their total stake and overall performance history. High-uptime, secure infrastructure is prioritized to maintain the network's high throughput standards.
Slashing Protocol
To prevent malicious behavior, the network implements a slashing mechanism. Validators who attempt double-signing or experience extended downtime will lose a portion of their staked capital.
Reward Distribution
The consensus mechanism rewards honest participation. Stakers receive a proportional share of transaction fees and newly minted tokens (within the hard cap), incentivizing long-term stability and network loyalty.
